Meet Our Resident Artists

At Made in Goldens Isle, our resident artists translate the Golden Isles into tangible stories and keepsakes you can hold. Located inside our St. Simons gift shop, the collection features paintings, ceramics, textiles, and jewelry that reflect the island’s coastal landscapes, marsh rhythms, fishing culture, and historic landmarks. Read detailed artist bios that explain each maker’s background, influences, and the local motifs they return to—salt marsh grasses, oyster boats, the lighthouse, and the shifting light along the causeway. Learn about creative processes you won’t see anywhere else: plein-air painters who capture morning low tide, ceramicists using salt-glaze techniques that echo the shoreline, fiber artists weaving island-grown fibers and upcycled textiles, and jewelers working with reclaimed metal and locally sourced shells. Many pieces are limited-edition runs or one-of-a-kind keepsakes made exclusively for our St. Simons gift shop; limited-edition items are numbered and come with the artist’s story card so you know the place and process behind the work. Visitors can browse artist pages online for photos and bios, request custom commissions for special occasions, or stop by the shop to meet select artists during scheduled meet-and-greets. Whether you’re collecting a coastal painting, a hand-thrown bowl, a hand-stitched textile, or a piece of island jewelry, Made in Goldens Isle connects you to the people and places of the Golden Isles through authentic, locally made art.
